The beignets (interesting, that word generated a spell checker error) sound wonderful! I think one of our friends, originally from New Orleans, said there was a place in the south (SF) Bay Area that had them.
Did you watch the debate with others? If you did, I’d be interested in hearing what the reactions from the crowd were.
Leslie, along with the majority of your interviewees, seem to be leaning the same way. Well, actually not leaning toward the same thing, but *away* from the same thing. I don’t know whether your sample could be skewed by the relatively safe path you’re driving, or the kind of people you unconsciously select, but the statistic is nevertheless encouraging.
Gotta go now. With all this Presidential news, I’ve been neglecting the local issues. The book for just the statewide California general election is 223 pages!
